Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can get access to it. In short: we collect what you send us in an enquiry, we don't track you, and we don't sell anything to anyone.
Who we are
This website is operated by StreamLink Pty Ltd. Where this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means StreamLink Pty Ltd.

What this policy covers
This policy covers this website (streamlink.net.au) and enquiries you send us through it. It also covers the business contact information we hold about our in-store streaming customers.
It does not cover our individual products, which are separate applications and services with their own privacy policies. If you are using one of these, read its policy rather than this one:

- Zestial: zestial.app
- Fonix One: fonix.one
- WebDLNA: webdlna.com
Information we collect
Enquiries you send us
Our contact form asks for your name, email address and a message, and optionally your company and phone number. It also records which subject you selected, so your enquiry reaches the right person. We only receive this information if you choose to submit the form.
Submissions are delivered to us as email. We do not store them in a database on this website, and the website has no login, account or user profile of any kind.
Technical information
Like almost every website, our host records standard server logs when a page is requested. These include your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the page you requested and the time you requested it. We use these only to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
Anti-spam checks
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from bots. Turnstile is only loaded on the pages that actually carry a form:
To do its job, Turnstile processes your IP address and signals from your browser. It is designed as a privacy-preserving alternative to conventional CAPTCHAs and is not used to track you across websites.
What we don't collect
To be specific, because a lot of sites are vague about this:
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no PostHog and no equivalent on this site.
- No advertising or tracking pixels. We do not run advertising networks, retargeting, conversion pixels or social media trackers here.
- No cookies of our own. This website sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's local or session storage. Turnstile may store a short-lived token to confirm a check has passed; that is its only purpose.
- No sale of personal information. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
- No sensitive information. We don't ask for it, and please don't send it to us in an enquiry.
In-store streaming customers
If your business is a StreamLink in-store streaming customer, we hold the business contact details we need to run your service: names, roles, email addresses and phone numbers of the people we deal with at your organisation, along with your site and billing details.
We also monitor the StreamLink Receiver units on our network so we can tell when a store has dropped out. That monitoring produces operational and diagnostic data about the device and its connection. It is not a record of individuals, and it does not capture audio from your premises.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use the information described above to:
- answer your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a demonstration or a quote;
- provide, support, monitor and bill for services you have asked us to provide;
- keep this website available, secure and free of automated abuse; and
- meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your enquiry to add you to a marketing list. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask first, and any such message will include a way to opt out.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run this website, and only so they can perform that function for us. We do not authorise them to use it for their own purposes.
| Provider | What it does for us | What it handles | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosting and delivery of this website | Standard server request logs, including IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested and a timestamp | United States and global edge locations |
| Cloudflare | Turnstile anti-spam check on our forms | IP address and browser signals, used to distinguish people from bots | Global |
| Resend | Delivering form submissions to our mailbox as email | Everything you typed into the form, plus your email address | United States |
Because these providers operate internationally, information submitted through this website may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where we are required or permitted to do so by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact enquiries for up to 24 months and then delete them. That gives us enough history to pick up a conversation that went quiet without holding onto enquiries indefinitely.
Information about active customers is kept for as long as we provide the service, and afterwards only for as long as we need it for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host as part of normal operations.
How we protect it
Our website is served over HTTPS, access to our mailbox and provider accounts is restricted to the people who need it, and those accounts are protected by strong authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access and disclosure.
Getting access, or correcting something
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@streamlink.net.au and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request. If we can't give you what you've asked for, we will tell you why.
Our approach, and how to complain
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which we treat as the standard for how this information should be looked after.
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, please tell us first. Email support@streamlink.net.au with the details and we will investigate and write back to you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and adults, and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always the one published here. If we make a change that materially affects how we handle personal information, we will make that clear rather than quietly editing the text.
