About
An Australian software company
StreamLink Pty Ltd has operated out of Mordialloc, Victoria since 2014. We started by streaming radio into retail stores, and we still do, every trading hour of every day. Somewhere along the way we started building everything else.
What we're actually for
There's a common thread through a retail streaming service, a guitar amp that runs in a browser tab, a music visualizer, a DLNA client and a pocket music player. It's that all of them do a specific job properly, for the person doing that job.
We don't build things that hold your files hostage. Axion and Zestial run locally and work offline. Fonix One plays music off a card you own. WebDLNA never sends your library anywhere. Where we charge a subscription, it's because something genuinely runs on a server, and where we don't have to, we don't.
It is all built in the open, and shipped when it's ready rather than when a roadmap said so.

Who's behind it
StreamLink is one person
Rhys Jones
StreamLink is a one-person company: the retail streaming platform, the receiver software, Axion, Zestial, Fonix One, WebDLNA and Phaethon are all built and maintained by the same person who answers the support email.
That is the reason for a lot of the choices on this site. Products get released when they are actually finished. Nothing gets a subscription bolted onto it to satisfy a growth target. And when you send an enquiry, it is read by the person who wrote the thing you are asking about.
History
How we got here
2014
StreamLink starts streaming
The in-store radio business begins: a receiver, a curated library and a live stream into Australian retail stores.
2019 – 2024
The network grows
More stores, more chains, and a platform rebuilt around Australian cloud infrastructure with real-time monitoring on every receiver.
2026
A software company
Axion, Zestial and WebDLNA are live under the StreamLink name, with Fonix One available for pre-order and a game in development. Same company, considerably wider brief.
